Christmas present for an old poet
i am one of those people who has much too much
stuff
this past week of trying to help Brian push his philosopher's notes
i came apon this smart pen
WOW
if i would have had one of these years ago when i started writings
poetry philosophy
drawing of all sorts
i wouldn't be so overwhelmed
with bookcases and boxes full of
stuff and more stuff
maybe i can return to finding the center of nowhere
and with only a pen and paper
expressing oneself
simple and easy
artistic expression
with built in community
marketing
and
possibilities of assets galore
i am excited
to return once again
to the times
when bliss
was a pen and paper
in hand
maybe even the sounds of a cold mountain stream rushing by
or a simple song being sung
life is good
