A pair of size ten shoes for Christmas
(i take size 101/2 and love this winter fit)
some gifts are so perfect you just know life is perfect.

so i'm driving around town this morning listening to npr
talk is all about povery and food banks and long lines
obama wants every child FULL by 2015
i want my child

of love, of opportunity, of play, of possibilities, of caring mentors, of passion,
of giving, of joy, of hilariousness, of food, of fresh air and water,

not tomorrow not 2015

in the meantime searching for the ultimate gift
leads me to new sites and fun stuff
to fill the space of my attention
instead of feeding the nation

new webcam, new external hard drive, new movie studio hardware and software
my studio that has been in storage and boxes for ten years is being uncovered

wonder how makiah and i will get to washington DC inauguraialstock
(i missed woodstock, never really liked crowds)
