Sixteen years. Charlie was a Christmas gift to me in 1987...a puppy star in the John Denver Christmas Special he found the way into my heart and home. He prepared me for the arrival of my son, Makiah now eight. Except for my immediate family, Charlie has the record of being by my side for sixteen very interesting years.
